What to Expect

Trying something new can seem overwhelming. Here’s what to expect when you sign up with me.

Step One - Create an Online Account

You’ll be invited to sign up for an account through our online portal. It’s a convenient spot where you can make and pay for appointments, keep all your documents, and check in with our HIPAA compliant chat feature.

Step Two - Share Your Health History

To help us understand where you are coming from and where you want to go, you’ll be asked to fill out a health history through the portal. You will also be asked to keep a food and mood journal for a week so that I understand your likes, dislikes, and food choices.

Step Three - Provide Labs

I use your most recent labs to create a Functional Health Report using OptimalDX software. This report is not used as a diagnostic tool but as a way of highlighting potential nutritional deficiencies. If you have had a food sensitivity test in the past, you’ll be asked to provide it. If you haven’t, I will recommend that you take one. You get one through my office.

Step Four - Your First Appointment

Your first appointment is 90-minutes to 2 hours long. It might seem like a long time, but I really want to get to know you. We’re going to be working together for the next four to six months so I want to know about your likes, your dislikes, your typical food choices, what makes you tick, what symptoms you are experiencing, and your hopes for the future.

Step Five - Your Second Appointment

During your second appointment, you will receive a plan that is tailored just for you. I take the time to go over it to make sure you understand it and to make sure that it feels achievable. All packages include personalized nutrition, supplement, and complimentary therapy recommendations.

Step Six - Your Follow Up Appointments

Your follow up appointments are designed to continue to support you emotionally and physically as you move through your nutritional journey. For the duration of your coaching plan, you can rely on me to be a trusted resource for nutrition information, for answers to your questions, for prayer support, and to be your cheerleader.

Step Seven - Supplements and Insurance

All clients receive a 10% discount on their supplements through Fullscript. These are easily ordered online and conveniently delivered straight to your mailbox. I do not accept insurance. Clients can check and see if their HSA will cover the cost of our program. I will provide a superbill for HSA reimbursement if needed but do not provide them for insurance reimbursement. Monthly payment plans are provided.
